ARTELIER. X ASICS
Artelier’s signature industrial design language reigns through a reworked silhouette, reimagined by hand through a process of intentional transformation. Built on a pre-existing ASICS foundation, the Gel-Kayano 14 model is elevated through a custom blue-toned intervention, where layered hues of cobalt, navy, and white reconstruct its visual identity.
The technical upper maintains its performance-driven structure, disrupted by hand-painted gradients and marked detailing that echo movement, terrain, and wear. Mesh and synthetic overlays interact with saturated color blocking, creating a dynamic contrast between precision and imperfection, while the silhouette evolves beyond its original form.
A defining element emerges at the toe box, where Artelier’s signature monogram “.A” is hand-rendered on either side, mirrored across the left and right shoe. Each pair carries subtle inconsistencies as a result of its manual process, ensuring no two executions are identical and allowing the piece to evolve with the wearer over time.
